The Ultimate Baseball Hat


Confession: I hate washing my hair. It takes forever to wash and even longer to dry (I have A LOT of hair) so I try to only wash my hair once or twice a week. This honestly saves time for more important things like dance parties with my daughter and husband, cooking fun meals, or story time. My  two tricks for not washing my hair everyday is LOTS of dry shampoo and cute hats like this baseball hat. Recently I stumbled across this cute baseball hat from Shuga Clothing  it is only $12 and they have a variety of fun colors. The other great thing about this hat is that it is adjustable so my daughter can even wear it (she has an obsession with hats).



Beef and Barley Soup


California has had a lot of rain this past week. We have gotten week after week of rain in the Bay Area.  I was recently in Southern California and was amazed by the number of trees that had been blown over by wind and rain. One of my favorite things about a rainy day is hunkering down and enjoying a warm bowl of soup. At least once over the winter I make beef and barley stew to enjoy on a cool rainy night. It is a very filling soup and it makes a large batch, so it easily feeds my family for a week.  Continue Reading!

Happy Valentine’s Day!


Today is Galentine’s Day! Happy Galentine’s Day!! My girlfriends and I got together for lunch to enjoy a fun afternoon full of waffles, fruit, cards, gifts and lots of laughter. It was such a fun day and I am so grateful for my girlfriends. Did you do anything fun for Galentine’s Day?

Zucchini and Turkey Loaded Sweet Potato



Do you have a friend that you feel like is your workout motivation? I can think of several of my friends who help motivate me to work out. One of those friends is my friend Kaylee. She is so strong. She is such  great runner, and always amazes me when we do TRX. Everytime we work out together I am motivated to train harder so that I can be stronger and faster like Kaylee.
